Wirra Wirra Church Block
Church Block was the first wine the late Greg Trott produced under the Wirra Wirra label back in 1972. he took the name from one of the original vineyards which runs alongside the old Bethany church across the road from Wirra Wirra’s ironstone cellars. Over four decades, the Church Block label has become an Australian favourite.
Church Block Cabernet Sauvignon Shiraz Merlot, McLaren Vale
Rich, generous palate with plush sweet fruit, combined ?with aromas of cedar, aniseed and clove spice. Full ?and juicy with plums and dark cherries, a touch of oak ?adds a cedary complexity leading to a long lingering fruit finish.
Original Blend Grenache Shiraz, McLaren Vale
Fresh nose with raspberry, plums and touches of ?musk, pepper and aniseed. Soft mouth-feel balanced?with fine tannins. Bright, raspberry fruits dominate?the palate, balanced with vibrant acidity and oak characters.
